Last updated: September 20, 2026. Here is exactly how this directory is funded today, without describing plans as if they were already in place.

What runs on the site today

The only advertising on this site is Google AdSense display advertising. Google chooses those ads; we do not pick the advertisers, and their content is not an endorsement by us. We currently have no sponsored listings, no paid placements, and no affiliate or referral links anywhere on the site.

What money does not buy

  • Inclusion in the directory — every listing is free.
  • A higher position on a neighborhood page or in the comparison tool.
  • Removal of accurate information about a business.
  • A rating. We do not publish our own scores or star ratings for any laundromat; the only reviews shown are visitor submissions, labelled as unverified.

If that changes

Should we ever accept a paid placement or use affiliate links, it will be labelled "Sponsored" or "Ad" at the place it appears, this page will be updated first, and listings will still be ordered the same way for everyone. Guides in our blog are written independently and no business has paid to appear in them.
